Each candle & fragrance are additionally marked with how strong that fragrance is in each candle. TOP NOTE means that you’ll be smelling that fragrance the most in the candle. MIDDLE NOTE will be a noticeable scent but maybe not the first one you pick up. Middle notes should still stand out in a cold throw (unlit candle) but will also be noticeable in the hot throw (wax as it’s melting and burning). BASE NOTE represents those deep fragrances that usually come out more as you’re burning a candle or add to an overall vibe vs standing out on their own.
